About Us
Buddhism in Chester
We are a group of like-minded people that meet weekly to develop friendship, meditate together, and learn about buddhist teachings. Attendance is by invitation to the regulars group for those who have attended a course, or have some familiarity with the Triratna system of practice, or have attended Triratna classes elsewhere.
Courses are open to anyone who has an interest in Mindfulness, Meditation or Buddhist practice. You do not need to identify as a buddhist to attend our courses or regulars sessions.
The Chester Buddhist Group and centre is associated with the Triratna Buddhist order and community. It is led by Dharmachari Moksaka (a member of the Triratna Buddhist order). We draw on teachings from within the Triratna system of practice as well as influences from the wider Buddhist tradition and secular Mindfulness.
