Mindfulness and Meditation for Health and Wellbeing.

Course 1: Introduction to Mindfulness and Meditation for health and Wellbeing; Thursdays for four weeks starting 08/01/26: 19:00-21:00
This is a four week course of four two hour sessions. a total of eight hours. the course consists of some simple guided practices interspersed with conceptual background and rationale. These sessions work best with some interaction to facilitate shared learning. So there will be some group discussion, (though of course, participation is not mandatory. you will not be pressured to speak in a group) Given that you already have the innate capacities (perhaps without realising) this will be largely a journey of discovery that is both surprisingly easy and enjoyable. People often experience a shift in perspective that leaves them feeling empowered and freed from unhelpful expectations. Each week will build upon the previous weeks simple practices and concepts in a way that is easily remembered and quickly becomes an integral part of you’re daily life. You simply pay attention in a systematic way that gradually becomes habitual and changes the way you relate to your experience.
